Enhancements to the IBV Advertising Bonus Pool
Since the IBV Advertising Bonus Pool (ABP) program has been implemented, it has resulted in Independent Shop Consultants earning higher IBV commissions as the necessary practices to grow the UnFranchise® Business are being implemented. In order to continue to evolve and ensure that the tasks and activities for the IBV Advertising Bonus Pool program are aligned with the company's newest initiatives and technology, new, updated criteria will be in effect starting with the quarter beginning April 1 (April 1 – June 30). For the monthly criteria, this period begins in early March for some Independent Distributors.
These minor revisions to the IBV Advertising Bonus Pool criteria will enhance the program and enable us to keep climbing. Satisfying the criteria for the IBV Advertising Bonus Pool and duplicating this with your organization not only enables you to earn more IBV commissions, but also provides a means to measure, monitor, adjust and control your progress.

One time only IBV Advertising Bonus Pool criterion:
- Complete the Getting Starting Wizard
Monthly Advertising Bonus Pool criteria: The following criteria need to be completed during each of YOUR three Q-Months which have Q-Dates within this ABP period. Each Distributor has a Q-Month based on their original Q-Date every month. For purposes of the IBV ABP, we are using the original Q-Date to determine the month instead of the Friday of that week.
Example 1: A Q-Date on the 1st will have its April month beginning on March 2 and ending on April 5 in 2013. For the IBV ABP, the April 5 end of Q-Month is the April Q-Month since it is based on April 1.
Example 2: A Q-Date on the 31st will have its April month beginning on March 30 and ending on May 3 in 2013. For the IBV ABP, the May 3 end of Q-Month is the April Q-Month since it is based on April 30 (no 31 in April).
- Order 10, 20 or 30 IBV each month by your Q-Date anniversary (amount is based on your IBV commission level).
- Make $75 in personal PC purchases from Partner Stores by your monthly Q-Date anniversary.
- Generate 50 BV in sales from your SHOP.COM site, Mini-Website(s) and/or PC AutoShip by your monthly Q-Date anniversary from Preferred Customers
Quarterly IBV Advertising Bonus Pool criteria: This will need to be satisfied within the date range of the ABP period, which is based strictly on calendar months and does not extend to the Fridays of the weeks.
Example: In order to meet the quarterly criteria for the 2013 second quarter ABP, the dates for the various criteria below must be between April 1, 2013 and June 30, 2013.
- Have at least one new customer (the new customer cannot be an existing PC) register as a PC and order a Market America-branded product from one of your SHOP.COM site, Mini-Website(s) and/or PC AutoShip (PC AutoShip would need to actually invoice in order to count, not just be set up for a future pull) within the date range of the current ABP period.
- Have one customer (new or existing) be on PC AutoShip (set up either by the Distributor in their UnFranchise Business Account or by the PC on SHOP.COM or a Mini-Website). The PC AutoShip would need to actually invoice within the date range of the current ABP period in order to count. Therefore, a PC just being set up for AutoShip for a future order does not satisfy the criteria. A particular PC may only be used to satisfy this criterion once.
- Two customers (new or existing) complete/set up a MyList on SHOP.COM. A particular PC may only be used to satisfy this criterion once.
The Advertising Bonus Pool Report will be modified to include these new criteria and updates.
The IBV Advertising Bonus Pool quarters beginning and ending dates are:
January 1 – March 31
April 1 – June 30
July 1 – September 30
October 1 – December 31
April 1 – June 30
July 1 – September 30
October 1 – December 31
The quarterly criteria must have dates which fall within the calendar quarter.
The monthly criteria follow your monthly Q-periods. A few examples of the ABP Q-Months for the second quarter of 2013 (yellow is for April, green is for May, and blue is for June):
